The Rotary Club of Iron Mountain-Kingsford suspended hosting its car plunge contest in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, during covid. When we did it between 2015-2019 we attracted not only local participants, but participants from other countries due to an article in the Rotary Magazine. The participants paid $10 to make three guesses as to when a bright orange 1998 Saturn sedan will sink through the ice and fall into a local caved-in mine called Chapin Pit. This successful fundraiser will return.

New slide being added to East Side Park

The Fumee Falls bridge was originally built in 2003 by members of our Rotary Club. It has become a very popular attraction and has been used in many wedding pictures over the years. We are now in the process of rebuilding it and it will be ready for the 2024 season.

Annual Rivalry Pancake Breakfast before the Iron Mountain - Kingsford football game. Proceeds benefited Kingsford H.S. Music Dept. & Iron Mountain-Kingsford Rotary Club's community projects.
